Meet the Builders
As a Virginia Beach native and co-owner of Anything Home, Phillip Fahrig is committed to providing exceptional experiences for both clients and trade partners. With over 25 years of experience in business development, sales, and management within the building industry, Phil believes that a Concierge Experience, tailored to each client, is at the heart of Anything Home’s core values.
When he’s not on the job site or in the office, Phil enjoys spending time with his wife, Mara, and their children, Brandon and Audrey. He and his family are actively involved in the community, supporting local charities and organizations such as CHKD, Recovery for Life, Girls on the Run, the American Cancer Society, and Kempsville Pony Baseball. When time allows, he also enjoys a round of golf.
Ken Smith, co-owner of Anything Home, brings over 18 years of experience in construction and project management. A Virginia Tech graduate with a degree in Building Construction, Ken began his career as a carpenter and worked his way up to leading operations as a Production Manager. In 2022, he was recognized by Remodeling Magazine as a “Top Forty Under Forty” leader for his contributions to the industry.
When he's not at work, Ken enjoys life in Virginia Beach with his wife, Amanda, and their beloved pets—Callaway, Coconut, Cashew, and Churro.

Ken and Phil met through their previous careers and shared a vision for redefining construction services. In 2022, they merged their companies, adding value to the construction community with more than 40 years of experience at Anything Home. Together, they are passionate about delivering high-quality craftsmanship and exceptional customer care to every client.

Initial Consult
Budget Proposal
We will visit your space and discuss your project goals.
After our initial visit, we'll provide a complimentary Budget Proposal, offering a rough estimate of the costs to bring your project to life.
Design Agreement
The Design Agreement covers the creation of a Design Package, which includes plans, renderings, construction documents, selections, specifications, a schedule, and a work quote. A small deposit is required to begin the Design Package, as it involves significant time and resources. This value is credited toward the Construction Agreement.
Construction Agreement
The Construction Agreement formalizes the Design Package, outlining project details, purchase price, payment terms, specifications and conditions. Once signed by the property owners and Anything Home, construction can be scheduled.
